Hello fellow swappers and journal artists,

My partners to rate me are: #hellojett #soyprincesa2 #Nicole72898

I had no thoughts when making this except to have fun. The little owls (3 just like my 2 sons and I) are looking down on the scene. The bright colors bring me energy and the systematic squares bring me structure/organization. On top of all that I have the feathers that are floating down randomly. I think of the feathers as new random opportunities, and we are watching for the ones we want. Or there could be pieces from the past that we have let go of. Whatever this art journal spread means, it appeals to me now as I am collecting my energy for…

Hi Everyone,

My partners for Freestyle Junk Journal #5 are: Lob, Soyprincesa2 and ScrapHappyGabi

I’ve been lately crafting with a lot of blues and greens, which are one of my favorite colors. So for this spread I also felt like using them.

The leaves, the children and I did them together with crayons rubbing the colors with the leaves underneath the paper. I’ve got some journaling space underneath the gnome and the back of the postcard can also be used to journal on to. This postcard, the calendar page and the green ladybug candy wrapper where happy mail, which I’m very thankful for.

Wishing everyone a nice rest of the week and a great start in June!

Vanessa

I love rubbings! I gotta try that too. Also those two colors are new to me in my own journaling. I rarely use them. Especially green. You did well.

Freestyle Junk Journal #5

By: SCRAPHAPPYGABI

I had fun making this one! I love the yellow tones and the florals ! It's a fun little layout for Springtime and I will journal on it eventually when I find the right photos. Sometimes it just happens like that!

I used:

*Recollections Color Splash Ombre Ink Pad

*Tim Holtz Stencils

*Pocket sent to me by a fellow Junk Journaler

*Washi from Temu

*Journaling Card from fellow Junk Journaler

*Sticker- From fellow junk Journaler!

I love using the things that people send to me in swaps and in pen pal letters!!

enjoy! x

Hi everyone!

For this round my partners are: ScrapHappyGabi, Nicole72898 and MsButterfly (hellojett)

I have a lot of scraps of images, papers and stickers and I wanted to try to use them up but to be fair the pile has not reduced at all. There is a little running theme for the freestyle pages I do and that is a little calendar image which is at the bottom of the left side page it says "May" at the bottom. The image at the top s fro a mouth-painter and I just love the brightness as well as te crystal glass vase details. There is a theme of sun, with the long pink arrows pointing to the three sun images.

I love that you filled all the white space. I need to do that more. This all goes together very nicely.
