My layout has a scrap of fabric that has silvery shiny dots (in just the right light they shine). I attached printed vintage valentines in the corners, and fabric ruffles and of course, the dictionary scrap with the word "youth" highlighted. Now I realize that I didn't put the "checklist" on my page. I normally write it somewhere on the page, BUT I didn't this time. It isn't required, but I like to do it on my pages so I think I will go ahead and write it along the margins.

I used a stamped girl holding flowers. Also 3 types of heart washi. I printed a definition for girl. Can you find my shiny? It's washi and glitter gel pens.

I featured a precocious little girl, as highlighted on the dictionary page. The background is shiny hold heart tissue paper, and the paper backing the dictionary page and little girl is shiny origami paper. The camera didn't pick up the shimmer.

First time participating and it was a true challenge. I generally freestyle (don't do well with prompts), don't particularly like hearts, nor little girls (aestethic). Yup, grumpy old gnoe here! 😂 But I persevered, had fun and really like how my spread turned out. So thank you for a fun scavenger hunt/journal session Maggie!
